- Style: ‘East meets West meets Ireland.’ Stylishly informal opulence with beamed ceilings and oak floors, the property has been totally refurbished and decked out with an eclectic mix antiques and treasures from overseas.
- Bedrooms: The fourteen en suite bedrooms in the main house – some with balconies and some with sitting rooms – are all decorated in their own unique style. There are 6 doubles (most with king-size beds), 2 twins, 4 triple rooms and 2 family rooms. The additional coach house (situated 50 yards from the house) has 4 en suite bedrooms, a kitchen, sitting room and a private garden.
- Bathrooms: All rooms are en suite with power showers and baths.
- For relaxation: Sip a tipple in the New York style private bar, chill out in the snug for a movie screening, relax with a book or get down to work in the library, and marvel at the stunning trompe d’eoil art work in the ballroom.
- For recreation: Throw a party in the south-facing ballroom (for 50+) or in the garden room (for 80+) with a sun terrace and bar; play croquet on the lawn; go fishing on the creek; and take leisurely woodland walks.

About Your Hosts
The owners returned to Ireland in 1998 and for the last three years they have undertaken the sensitive restoration of the house as a Private Residence, a first for Kinsale. Des McGahan spent the previous 16 years in Asia where he jointly set up the award winning events agency PRISM and Lisa McGahan was Regional Corporate Affairs Director for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for ten years focusing on Corporate Strategy and Public Relations.
